Ambient Air Vaporizer

The main equipment of a skid-mounted LNG vaporization station includes: LNG storage tanks, BOG storage tanks, unloading platforms, unloading superchargers, tank superchargers, main ambient air vaporizers (water bath heaters), reheating units, BOG heaters, EAG vaporizers, LNG pressure regulation, metering, and odorization devices, central control systems, safety venting and safety shut-off systems, pipelines, fire protection and lightning protection systems, and other auxiliary equipment. The LNG storage tank is a cryogenic vacuum insulated container, typically with a capacity of 40–150 m³. Both the LNG ambient air vaporizer and the BOG (EAG) heater are finned tube combination units; the former is primarily used for vaporizing LNG, while the latter is mainly used for reheating BOG (EAG) gas. Natural gas itself is colorless and odorless, and according to regulations, it must be odorized. The odorant used should be tetrahydrothiophene.
